A week back my PC just randomly turned off while I was using it and when I tried to turn it back on, nothing turned on. Not even the fans. There was absolutely dead silence.
After testing the RAM sticks I concluded that it must be the PSU. I got a new PSU today and the problem still persists.
I have tried the following :
• Taking out the CMOS battery and pressing down the power button for 30s so as to drain out all the residual charge in the capacitors but to no avail.
• Tried taking out the GPU too. And powering it on via Integrated graphics.
• Dismounting the Mother Board so as to check if something is accidentally earthed.
• Using the Reset Switch as the Power Switch.
• Even tried changing the Wall Socket to a wall socket that's surely working.
I'm really puzzled as to what is the problem. Any insight would be helpful.
The specs are :
Intel i5 7400
Gigabyte 1050Ti Windforce OC
Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2
Hyper X fury DDR 4 (2x8GB)
