[SOLVED] My PC shutdowns immediately after start up when I replace new CPU.

Hello!
I recently bought new CPU i5 9400F and my old CPU is Pentium G4500. Both are 1151 LGA. When I replaced a CPU and I started up it then it immediately shut down (about 1-3 sec) without a warning. I have been updated BIOS MB. My motherbroad is MSI B150 PC MATE. I don't know why it should happen. Please help me out .

Your motherboard does not support 9th gen cpus. The B150 chipset only supports 6th and 7gen cpus, 8th and 9th gen are only supported on the 300 series chipsets.

Yes, but good chance it will require a bios update and at $150 it's over priced. A b365 or Z390 won't need a bios update to work with 9th gen cpus.
