Hello guys, I recently upgraded my PC to 32 GB RAM, I had 2x8 TridentZ 3600 MHz and I sell it and bought a 4x8 Corsair vengeance pro RGB and since I installed corsair ram when I turn off my pc for an hour or more, when I try to turn it on the yellow light stays on and nothing showing on the monitor so I have to force shut down the pc and press the power button again and everything works just fine.

  • my MoBo has the latest bios update.
  • I also cleared the CMOS and changed the CMOS battery to a new one.
  • I tried my cousin's ram (corsair vengeance LPX) on my PCand this problem has gone.
  • I also tried my ram (corsair vengeance pro-RGB) on my cousin's PC and he didn't have that problem.
  • I tested every ram stick and try to boot and it works fine but still the same problem happens when I leave my pc turned off for an hour or more.
  • XMP enabled or disabled makes no difference, problem still occurs.
pls, guys help me!

my PC specs:
CPU: R7 5800X
Mobo: Asus rog Strix x570-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 corsair vengeance pro RGB
Cooler: EK AIO 360
GPU: GTX 980
PSU: Asus rog Strix 750w

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

What BIOS version are you currently on for your motherboard? As for your motherboard, how did you clear the CMOS? You mentioned that your donor system was your cousin's, does he have the exact same specs to your build?

Do you get a mild tingling sensation when you make contact with the chassis(bare metal) and your feet are making contact with a non-carpeted/non-wooden floor? If so, you might be having a grounding issue.

hello man, I'm working on the last bios update (Version 4021 ), I cleared the bios by removing the CMOS battery from MoBo for 10 mins, my cousin's specs are (CPU: i5 10400f, MoBo: Asus prime H510m-a, RAM: Corsair LPX 2x8, GPU: GTX 1650).
yes, I get mild tingling when I touch the backplate of the case. :\
