[SOLVED] My pc wont power on after switching PSU

I've just switched the psu in my build, when I first switched the psu I plugged in the 24 pin connector and it turnt on. But now I've plugged it all in it isn't turning on. I don't know wether I've knocked something or forgot to plug something in please help me.

Did it turn on by itself then turn off when plugged in? If that’s the case I’d try leaving everything plugged in and try jumping the two pins on the motherboard that normally turn it on, if it still doesn’t turn on I would think either there’s a short somewhere (like a dead graphics card or hard drive) or the psu has an issue.

It's a brand new psu. I think I did something to the front panel connectors as the psu started when I first put it in but only put the 24 pin in. But it's now not starting

That’s why I said try jumping the two power pins on the motherboard with a screw driver if you are confident enough because if the power button is faulty then the pc won’t turn on without it.

I switched the cpu connectorand it's now working

shut power off on psu and recheck all wiring and made sure you did not plug the gpu cable to the board also recheck frony panel connector one could be a little bit out and does not made full contact .
