My pictures disappeared

Hello,pictures I take with my Casio camera after uploading them onto my pc after I unplug the usb cable from camera and go back to my camera screen to view pictures on my camera they are all gone. Why? Its so frustrating all the pics I have taken are no longer on my camera unless I plug the cable back up and I can see all my pics on pc. Help!!!! I want my pics to stay in my camera as well so I can show friends & family my pics Is my setting wrong on camera or what. I don't understand why all my pics leave my camera.

Maybe, if you are copying the pictures from your camera using Windows you are inadvertently selecting Move rather than Copy. Make sure you don't press the Shift key when dragging and dropping (or whatever).

plug your camera to your computer again, and then copy photos from computer and then paste them to your camera
if this method doesn't work, you can try photo recovery tool.
