[SOLVED] My PSU doesn't show up on hwinfo

My PSU is Seasonic 520W S12II GB 80 Plus Bronze and it just doesnt't show up, why?

thats because PSU doesnt have any chip inside which wwould tell your PC what PSU it is

Why? As long as the voltage readings are ok it doesn’t matter. The only PSU I know of that can be monitored through software are the Corsair model with an ‘i’ in their name.

No, that's impossible with an analog PSU like your oldtimer Seasonic. Only digital PSUs (like Corsair HXi) that's connected with USB to the motherboard show up in HWinfo.
