So i bought new PC about 2 months ago. These are specs :
Ryzen 5 2600
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK
RAM HyperX Predator 2x4gb module : HX432C16PB3K2/8
Corsair CX650
GTX 1060 6G

So, on the mobos qvl it says this memory can run at 3200Mhz, but in my case it just cant. PC gets BSOD, when i run games. So i lowered it at 3000Mhz. It worked fine for about 1 month. Then again, all of the sudden, started to crash, while playing games. I had to downclock the memory to 2400Mhz, and now it works fine, no crashes, no BSOD's.
My quiestion is: Is this possible? Ram not working when overclocked, even tho it is on motherboards qvl?

Btw sorry on my bad english :)

Thanks

Have you updated to the latest BIOS? If not try updating your BIOS. See if that clears up any issues.

Next. Reset your CMOS. Leave it at default settings and run Memtest86+ off a USB Flash drive or burned DVD. Let the full test run and see if there are any memory errors. There are many guides on setting up Memtest86+. Personally, I use it with Hiren's BootCD and set it up using RUFUS. Hiren's has some useful diagnostic software.

If everything checks out as OK. Now that your BIOS is on default settings. Try enabling the XMP profile for your memory. Then run Memtest86+ again. If there is more than one XMP profile. Try each profile if one of them fails the Memtest86+ test.

I havent updated to the latest BIOS, i will certainly do it. I run Memetest86+ and it has shown some errors on 3000Mhz , but not on 2400Mhz, so i let it run at 2400 for now.

Thank you for answering! :)
