Well im stretching the legs of my R9800pro now.
Playing some Serious Sam the Second Encounter, Freelancer and Will Rock.

Stock speeds are 380core, 340mem. Stock GPU cooler and no ramsinks.

Through a couple of hours trial and error ive found the RAM limitations to within 3Mhz.
363Mhz runs fine for as long as i want it.
366Mhz gives me while horizontal snow like artefacts after 5 minutes.
and 369 gives them after half a minute.

So 363(726) is the ram limit.

Core limit im still testing.
400Mhz seems ok so far.

Didn't you have a 9700PRO?
What happened to it?

EDIT: It didn't go into Emma's Pink Beast did it?

If you get a replacement, what you will do with the Radeon 9700?

Sell it for as much as i can as a new untouched product (which it will be).

Ive considered selling to friends and family... but none of them would use even half its graphical power *laughs*.

Sway Emma into thinking the card has amazing sexual gaming prowess...

And it will load her pink desktop even faster and more prettier!

Site has now even more sexy members, for your pleasure.

IT's funny cause that's the EXACT same 'useable' limit for the memory on my R9600Pro too. Anything above 363mhz craps out long term with 'blackflies'. However I only run those speeds for benchmarks as I want longevity until I know what I'm doing with this card.

Just thought it was funny, as I beleive they both have the same Samsung memory on them.

well its not bad considering that 2A chips are being used
where 2A = 2.86ns = 350Mhz.

Strangly the exact same memory equipps the previous Powercolor R9700pro, and it can only do 336 without artefacts.
must be due to trace lengths and path quality.

Sometime in the next few weeks I plan on doing the same with my Xtasy 9500 Pro. Not as cool as a 9800 or 9700 but dangit, I haven't seen anything with an Xtasy card OCed.
