My screen has a purple tint

Most things that are white or shades of white on my computer are a light neon purple color. However, when I push down the screen till it's about 2/3's closed, the problem goes away. Any solutions? Thanks

it is a loose cable

Sounds like a loose connection in the monitor itself or a loose connection between the screen and motherboard.
