My screen is black when i look at shadows or dark room etc. when playing video g

Hello, i ahve 2 6950's in crossfire 16 gb 1866 ram amd 8150 and ssd drive. so why is my screen or picture blacking out when i look at shadows or dark areas in games and the rest is fine, just dark areas?

You need to calibrate the gamma on your monitor. Monitors usually come with a disc to calibrate them with and your monitor probably has some calibaration buttons on it. Adjust the blacks so you get a black and only the very lowest level with some differentiation to a lighter shade the next step up. This can be done in Nvidia control panel as well. I'm sure AMD has something similar for tweaking the display.
