My desktop tipped over after I tripped on a headset chord one day and now the screen turns black at random times. At first it wouldn't even turn on so I had to plug in the loose motherboard power chord. I'm not sure what could be causing this and it is getting very annoying. Any help would be appreciated :)

I would open the case and recheck all connections as components could have become jostled in the fall. That means to remove and reseat the graphics card as well as check all cables for loose connections. If you have a loose connection, that is your culprit and you might need a new component if there is one to eliminate it.
