My signal fluctuates when playing call of duty modern warfare on xbox

My signal fluctuates red to yellow and shortly green when playing call of duty modern warfare on XBOX360. Its never done this before until a few days ago. I have an open NAT and all other wireless devices on my network still keep a steady signal. What can I do to fix this problem? Might I add I'm not even 50'ft away and on an N 802.11 network
