My Smartphone is not Charging Properly....?

Hey guys....
I have the Lenevo S820 Smartphone....
Like Other SmartPhone's it also has a micro usb slot for charging.....

When i plug in the charger cable...the phone does'nt charges...but when i pull the charging cable at the charging point downwards then the mobile charges....but i cannot keep pulling the charging cable downwards all the time ...

Can anyone provide me a fix for this?

i have tried changing the cable..... the problem is with the micro usb charging port not cable...the cable charges other smartphone;s well

it sounds like your phone's micro usb socket is damaged.
still under warranty? return for repair.
if not, you'll have to get your wallet. sorry.

well i think you are right i should get my phone repaired......but i was hoping if i would fix it on my own.....probably saving time and money....

Its look like you have problem in usb point of mobile some or change check with to change usb cable.
