Recently my computer is getting slower and I wondered that the cause is the SSD. So I used AS SSD Benchmark and CrystalDiskMark. The scores seem so bad.

What do you think about my scores? Is my SSD likely to be broken? Should I replace this with new one? I bought this SSD just 2 months ago.

The following are my PC's specs.
  • OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home April 2018
  • motherboard: ASUS TUF B365M-PLUS GAMING(WI-FI)
  • CPU: Intel CPU Core i7-8700 3.2GHz
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX1070TI
  • memory: PATRIOT DDR4 2666MHz PC4-21300 16GB
  • storage: Silicon Power-256GB SSD SATA III 2.5
  • power: Thermaltake Smart 600W

Update windows 10 lol...

but besides that.

i had to find an old run of as ssd to compare

Above specs were on a I5 4690k with a Z97 motherboard so should be similar I would expect, or close anyway.
What model ssd is it? Just curious of specs.

its not the fastest drive out there, thats for sure

if its an A55, its slow.
At about 2 minutes in he shows scores
should be read 522, writes 490 although the speeds you get depend on system. it shouldn't be that low.

Thanks for your reaction. My windows version is the latest...

Yes, my ssd model is A55, so I’m thinking about replacing it. I hope that improves the situation. By the way, is it possible that other parts are the cause?
