hello guys,
i tried everything i could do, without any solution,
so any ideas to solve my problem will be appreciated.

my system:
i5 9700k
asus tuf z390 plus gaming.

I installed a new NVMe SSD, my system had 1 ssd before.
the problem is that if i install the nvme, i can see both drives at bios,
but when try to log in at windows i get bsod. sometimes it manage to login at windows but i cant see the nvme, device manager show it as unknown pci device.

second try was to remove the ssd and do a fresh windows install.
but i get error 0x80300002 when i choose the disk.

Solutions i tried:
updated everything in my mobo.
tried all combinations in bios settings. disabled cms etc.
created multiple times windows installation usb stick.
used the diskpart commands to clear disk
i used another new nvme with same results.
tried both slots for nvme on my mobo.
tried to install samsung nvme driver - error cant find any samsung nvme

What would they be?

You say Samsung, yet you don't' specify the model for the Samsung SSD.

What BIOS version are you currently on for your motherboard?

bios version 3006,
the ssds that i tried are: samsung 970 evo plus 1tb, kingston 1tb, adata 500gb dont remember models on last 2.
also last night i tried to install windows 11 ( the previous tries was with windows 10), and the result was that i see the nvme at bios with 1tb space and when i choose the disk to install windows, the disk has 0 mb, and the error: no partitions found.

it could be a motherboard bug? or fault? i cant think anything else. or maybe any special configuration at bios? i tried many configurations that i found in google search.

Is this a 2.5 inch ssd drive? Or the little M.2 card with
edge connector?

If the latter one, be aware there are TWO different kinds.
Same length etc, etc. But the edges are different. The
NVME has ONE slot in the card edge connector, whereas
the SATA ones have two slots. You must have the right
kind.

I am not sure, but plugging in the wrong one might let the
magic smoke out.

This bit me. I ordered some NVME's for my Panasonic
toughbook, and found out they don't work. I had to reorder
the SATA kind. Your mileage may vary.
