So a few days ago i upgraded my system, i upgraded 3 parts, processor motherboard and ram, for days my pc ran fine but as soon as i updated the bios it started to give me problems

It turns off after some time, some time it runs for just a few minutes and sometimes for an hour or two as well. I did some stress testing as well thinking it could be the power supply, but during stress testing the system runs fine it just turns off randomly.

And when it turns off the cpu and gpu fan still runs but no display signal, and the cpu debug light is on as well.

I did tried lowering the voltage thinking
the bios could have some power optimization issues but it did not solved the problem.

WHAT I THINK THE PROBLEM IS
If the cpu was the problem i dont think the system will boot at all, the supply is fine as well because while stress testing the system runs well, so i think the MOTHERBOARD is the problem, let me know what your thoughts are.

SYSTEM SPECS
cpu - ryzen 5 3600
Cooler - deepcool gammax gt
Motherboard - msi b450 a pro
Ram - gskill ripjaws 3200mhz
Gpu - gtx 1060 6gb
Storage - 128gb sata ssd, 1tb hdd
Supply - cooler master mwe 450

did you reinstall windows with the new components?

which BIOS version is installed now?
did you reset the BIOS after updating

to have a look what the problem could be:
run userbenchmark.com and post the http link of your result, e.g. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730

Reset the BIOS by jumper clrCMOS or JBAT or similar (eventually you will have to set the boot priority correctly after that)

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...em-files/bc609315-da1f-4775-812c-695b60477a93

clean boot

check the memory by running memtest.org usb autoinstaller (bootable USB flash drive)

run the RAM @2133MHz to check if it happens then too

check the hard drive for errors with its manufacturer´s tool and if available, update the firmware

i realised i did a few mistakes after updating the bios, i did not cleared the cmos though i tried doing it after wards but it did not helped and the windows i was using was not a fresh install i just swapped the drive.

So after your reply i did these things :

1. Cleared CMOS using the jumper pins and restored the default values after auto restart, i have not done any changes yet to the bios (Bios version 7B86vA8 - recommended by amd for ryzen 5 3600).

2. Did a fresh Windows Install using usb (Windows 11) , though the pc crashed once during the installation but in the 2nd installation it went smooth no crashes or turning off.

3. Installed Chipset, Gpu, and audio drivers.

So far its been more than an hour and the system is running just fine, but if anything wrong happens then i will run the tests you mentioned and i will update you, you have been very helpfull so far thanks for your quick response

so far my system ran fine after the installation of windows,

but later this day i turned on my pc for further testing and it booted into windows and turned off like 5-6 times, it ran just for a few minutes

couldn't run the memory benchmarks due to the turning off issue, so i just swapped my memory with the hyper x fury 2133mhz ram, single stick (My gskill ram was running at 2133mhz too, 2 sticks) and it crashed again, so i think ram is not the issue

i tried doing the clean boot as well it crashed once after that.

and after a few boot ups now my system is running ok for a while so i decided to check windows integrity issues as TITAN suggested and i've got this
"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag."

the log list is quiet long and i don't actually know what all that means, let me know you anyone need the log list

UPDATE: after doing all this my system crashed again, So is the MOTHERBOARD faulty ?
