Im going to overclock my i7'860 cooling it down with a Corsair H-50, but I was wondering if any of you guys mind or have any guides I could use to overclock since I don´t know ANYTHING about overclockin. I dont know the terms, steps, science, etc. But Im a fast learner and can make way through things, so... any help? By the way, my motherboard is a Intel DP55KG Extreme Series Desktop Motherboard that includes an Intel Performance Center in which I don´t know if I can make the overclock assigment

haha yeh indeed some people (including me) start first and ask later luckily things went good here but like motopsychojdn said have fun because its kinda cool hoping if it will work good or not 😛

Well Intel MBs are usually not very good OCers but your board seems to be an exception to that rule.

First, I would download the data sheet for your processor so you have an idea of what voltages and temperatures you need to concerned about:
http://www.intel.com/design/corei7/documentation.htm

Then read a bunch of different guides for the i7 8xx and 9xx series processors to get an idea of what needs to changed in the Bios and what the Bios settings are for. Some of the better guides will give you good info as to what things like QPI/VTT are and what it does and why you need to increase the voltage. Then, if you have Bios settings that you don't know what it does and don't know if you should change it, GOOGLE to find out. Almost all the decent guides will give you basic information as to monitoring programs and testing programs you will need.

And lastly as already stated, HAVE FUN, as long as you don't go crazy with voltages of temps your not going to hurt anything.
