I can't type y for some reason, I know this isn't hardware because I tried typing it with my laptops internal keyboard and my external keyboard. I have tried everything.
Then it must be something else that you have installed. Some software or possible a driver.I did that already, didn't have anything to do with it
when I am trying to log in to windows it works, and I do have software that can register hotkeys, gk61 drivers, and g-hub. i tried reinstalling both of them and it didnt change anything.Check if you have any software that can register keyboard hotkeys.
Does it work (pressing y) when you're trying to log into windows ?
Then it's not a keyboard issue really.when I am trying to log in to windows it works
Try to uninstall those completely. Then you'll at least have narrowed the issue down if it solve the problem., and I do have software that can register hotkeys, gk61 drivers, and g-hub. i tried reinstalling both of them and it didnt change anything.
