Question MYPUBLICWIFI APP , can connect and log in but no internet access.

Hello when phone connects to my mypublicwifi that is working from laptop,everything goes good but the client cannot recieve internet access.
Im using Windows 11

Yes bro thats the app.. im sharing from wifi to wifi Router Mode (NAT)

I am trying to understand your connection path. Is this correct?

WiFi Router ==> Laptop ==> Phone

On the link provided, there are several examples of network layouts. Which are you using?

Mobile Hotspot ---> Laptop ---> Phone
This is what im using.
I can also put the simcard in router and connect with ETH and can make it
Router --> Laptop --> Phone..

i dont know which is the best for this

Is there a reason you don't connect the phone directly to the hotspot?

Because in MYPUBLICWIFI i have achieved to put my custom login page,not the native login hotspot. And this will be used in a place that doesn't have internet except from mobile data, and will be much people connecting

They will proceed from my login page and when successful ,they will be connected to internet,but this is the problem im facing now.They connect ,also logged in for internet using,but internet doesnt come

I also saw a thread that firewall need to be turned on but the problem is when i turn firewall on my loginpage hotspot doesnt show anymore,it shows white page :/

Make sure the connected devices have the correct gateway address and DNS.

They should be, but I would verify. Double-check the app settings on your laptop to ensure it is passing the correct DNS info to the attached clients.

As a test, you can manually change the DNS on a client as see if it will then get to the internet. Use Google's DNS addresses: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Ah okay, thats okay.. i just tried i changed DNS of my network adapter of MYPUBLICWIFI , also to the phone but nothing changes.Im logged in ,but no internet connection

Does your phone have the IP of the laptop as its gateway?

Does your laptop actually have internet access?

Yes the IP is of the laptop
IP Address : 192.168.5.19
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Router 192.168.5.1

Not sure where to see that,but i think thats not the problem.
Because if i seee this page (https://ibb.co/Df0zNxj) it means its configured, its just the internet not coming.
Insted of Cancel up right should be Done.

I would think the network you share with the clients would be different than the one your laptop is using.

Looks like your router and laptop are on 192.168.5.x

The range for your clients should be different, like 192.168.6.x. This should be easily set in the app settings.

Im using MYPUBLICWIFI so ofcourse the app creates another network " Local Area Connection 10* .

Laptop is the router in this case.

Yes. It appears to be compatible. Your clients should be in different segment, I would think. Look at the app settings for the network setup.
