Hey guys,

This is a problem that I noticed since I first built my PC about 5 months ago, but was unable to find any solutions.

My Windows 11 (Ver 23H2 OS build 22631.3737) NCSI says I'm not connected to internet; in
Network & internet Settings, it says "Not connected", "No internet, secured". It has been like this for both Wifi and Ethernet. I believe this is what is preventing me from accessing several features/apps in my PC, including Windows updates, Microsoft Store, Spotify, Reddit, Epic Games Store etc (they all tell me that I'm "offline" or "not connected to a network" and prompts me to try again at a later time)

I've tried every fix that I could find on the internet, including:
- resetting router, modem, PC
-disabling ipv6
-netsh winsock reset catalog, netsh int ip reset reset.log, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew in command window
-getting the latest wifi driver and trying older versions (I'm on a aorus elite ax rev 1.2, so got the latest driver form the gigabyte support page)
-making sure Network Location Awareness, DNS client, and DHCP client are all running
-Resetting network through "Network Reset"
- Completely reinstalling windows 11

This is my first ever PC build and I'd really love this to work properly so any tips to troubleshoot this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Could you be in a double NAT configuration?
Open a cmd window and run ipconfig.exe /all
Post the output.

As above.

Also include make and model information for modem and router. Or modem/router if combined.
Hi guys, thanks for the feedback and sorry for the delay.
Here's what I got. I'm not an IT expert and I like to be cautious so I redacted some information, hope that's fine.
The model of my modem is Arris SURFboard SB 8200v2. There's a couple routers in my home but the one I'm connected to is an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station. I've tried other routers and the problem persists, though.

I would say it has nothing to do with the hardware.

You can try

https://support.heimdalsecurity.com...crosoft-applications-Outlook-Teams-and-others

https://docs.controld.com/docs/microsoft-ncsi-connectivity-warning

I would also suggest manually changing your DNS to google's DNS 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4, either in your router or on your PC.
The Primary and secondary DNS's are already changed to 8888 and 8844, as you can see in the screenshot, but I'll definitely give your other troubleshooting guides a shot, thanks!
