ND 1300A problems

I ve just bought a ND-1300A nec 4+/-DVD writer
..but i cant write at 4x (-) , with prime disc material
write it but but half dont read after
also with Princo media --shows power error --and fails at 4x
or make a lead in about 4min and the result is nearly not readable
...works better on DVDRW+ (and here some times stops Like dead the writer and must restart PC) i try with nero 6.028
and InCd 4.072 on a WIN2K machine
Can Anyone help?

in the middle time i ve upgrade Firmware
problem with pRINCO S 4X NOT SOLVED
"POWER CALIBRATION ERROR" is the message
Anyway i found a solution for less problems
i had to burn a compilation with alot small files 4,2 Gb
about 120.000 files The only way is to make an Image file
everything else fail in any speed ..
this solved the problem with Prime disc material
This way i had a solid 4x burning without problems
Princo also this way had the same problem
i fimiliarize the 2x burning wih them until i finish them
Perhaps and my comp is not so strong to make the job
