nec 1715?

anyone see any reviews for the nec 1715? i saw the flat panel at comp usa for around $450. the official specs are:analog input, 400:1 contrast ratio, 16ms response-typical.

while i was at comp i played jedi academy on it and it looked good. i checked the machine and the video card was an ati 9100 so i would think a better card would improve it.

I am Somewhat familiar with this panel (a friend of mine has it) and i was tempted to buy it. Game performance was great on it with no ghosting. Colour also seemed pretty good.
The only thing that really bothered me was that i thought the screen appeared to be concave looking. It was like the outside edges were coming out at you and the middle of the screen was falling back. I found it really annoying running anything in a window.
I did not like the fact that you cannot control pincushion and trapeoid functions on it like a CRT monitor.Doing CAD drawing on it got on my nerves.

For myself i decided to go 19 inch CRT. Better performace,better display control and half the price. Sure it takes up a lot of room on my desk but i can live with that.
