Hey, im new here and i'm slightly new to pc's (4 years) and im prepared to buy a cpu for my computer.

Need something that can not bottleneck my shiiii, play games like, Hunt Showdown, Tarkov, Rainbow 6 and Ready or Not.

I also stream and edit videos, i run my games on 1080, 3 monitors are used.

Parts:
Case: Phantex Eclipse P400A, 2 fans plus a AIO cooler for the cpu
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming
GPU: 3 fanned 6700xt
Current CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x
Ram: 32gbs stuck running on 2666 (if i raise it any higher it crashes)
PSU: 750w gold thermaltake
1tb hard drive. 500gb ssd. I have a 500gb NVME ready to be put in and ill be switching the hardrive with a 2tb ssd

I'm thinking a 5700x or a 5800x3D but not sure. Thanks all

Have a look at 5700x3D almost same as 5800x3D but with less power and cooling requirements, that should all but double 2700x performance.

Most modern cpus above i3 level will be good. For a while I even used a Ryzen 5 5500 with one and it was fine. But 5700x3d as stated above is a great value. You might find your ram is stable at higher speeds with the newer cpu as well due to the updated memory controller on the cpu

Do you mean you had difficulty installing the latest BIOS?

Your target is version 6042 or higher. I see no BIOS upgrade restrictions in place so you should be able to jump to the latest. There is a possibility you will lose the capability to run the 2700X, but they don't mention it.

https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/BIOS/ROG-STRIX-X470-F-GAMING-ASUS-6223.zip?model=ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING

How to:

so like is the 5700x3d... it wont bottlenmeck my shiii right? or would a ryzen 9 5950x be better or would that be to much for a bottleneck?

Bottlenecking is a misused term. Every system has them and it only becomes a concern when there is a serious mismatch in capabilities AND you want the performance out of a part that is more relevant to one task or another.

You don't need a 16 core CPU to run most games, you need fast cores for high FPS output. Any graphics demanding games will be limited by your 6700XT and the CPU will matter a lot less. If you tried running 4K on something like Cyberpunk right now, you would see 100% GPU usage and would have idle time from the CPU. If you took something like Fortnite and ran at 720P low settings then the CPU would be limiting how many FPS you can get and your GPU would have idle time.

If you are just gaming 5700X3D or 5800X3D are the best CPUs, second only to the latest high end Intel and the 7000/9000 series from AMD that are newer. The extra cache loads more of the game engine into the fastest memory that is onboard the CPU.

5950X would help in your streaming and video editing, particularly if you use CPU encoding. But as you are getting by on an older 2700X, then the 5700X3D or 5800X3D would be a significant improvement either way.

Comes down to how you want to prioritize your time or in-game performance.

I have 2 computers, one has a sapphire 6700xt nitro oc and it runs with a 3600xt and it works quite well.
at the beginning I had the 6700xt with a 5900x and it was literally strangling it, the card couldn't catch a breath.
if you only want games 5800x3d, if you want anything else you get 5900x
