Hey fellas! 😀 i need a gaming rig my current specs are bad and quiet outdated.. So im gonna buy a new rig and its gonna be mainly for gaming and im not gonna play games on high res/texture, so mid-range is fine. All the parts must be included(ONLY CPU)..guys it has to be as low as possible... and please try to give me links of parts from the link: www.flipkart.com cause im in india and the price of parts in india are quite high. 😉 . So please try to give me links from that site! Many thanks in advance! :) :) 😀 :bounce:

I agree on this part, this is why Google was invented =).

Also, we as a community are here to help. But, we do also have obligations like work/school/private stuff etc. We can't be a personal butler all the time. I see a lot of topics which only get 2/3 answers, you are getting a crapload 😛. If you have any more questions, first do your own research, show us the links and we can than conclude if you are doing it correctly.

If it is 80+ bronze/higher, yes.

Well I'm gonna be buying parts at a local store 😛 I asked you guys for the links from flipkart just to make sure it's available in India. The brands of the psu at the stores will be different as compared to the ones on online stores. And I think the PSUs won't be branded so they obviously won't have that much info regarding them and I don't know if they will have info posted on their website..... 🙁 any other way to check??

Only by looking at the psu itself, there's a sticker on the side which would give info, probably also about the "bronze" thingy.
Info of total wattage/amps on the +12voltrail(s) and such would give a clue about the quality, also what connectors it has.

Something like a Antec VP-450 would be a nice choice and might be available.

Companies making excellent PSUs: XFX, Seasonic, Antec, (Corsair depending on the PSU).

He is from India. The PSU he is talking of is most definitely a cheap piece of crap, those aren't 450 W, more like 45 W. More so, the dont have PCI-E connectors as well. Investing in a decent PSU would cost him a quarter of his budget, thereby pushing him back to a combo FX 6300 and AMD Mobo. Plus, I don't think he knows what the value of a good PSU is, he will disregard the warning I give now and will buy a cheap generic one, which will lead to his entire setup burning up in half a year's time.

Rig making isn't as easy as you think MOHAWK. Each part should be high quality and should complement the other. If you were making one for word processing and office work, then its easy, but being a gamer qualifies you as a power user and thus each part has to be of good quality.

Additionally, everyone has asked him multiple times to tell the current configuration he has, so as to see if any parts could be salvaged from the same. I told him to run DXDIAG, another user told him to use HWINFO32, but he did neither. This guy has no respect for the community here, neither does he listen to their advice.

Finally someone else sees what I see. Just ordering us around like a bunch on internet slaves!

If I were you guys, I wouldn't bother answering one more question from this can't listen, won't answer, time sucking, know nothing!!!

The next thing he'll be wanting is for you guy's to fly to India, buy the parts and put it together for him!:pfff:
