Everything I bought for the computer in question is on this PCPartPicker list.

The motherboard is the "Gigabyte GA-H110M-A Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard". This board just died a few days ago and I want to replace it, but I can't find the same board sold as new. I'm not 100% confident in my knowledge of this stuff anymore so I don't want to just buy any old LGA1151 motherboard. I would really like to find something as close to the original as possible. Any ideas or help is much appreciated.

You'll most likely have to buy used since the 1151 socket is dead for a few years now and I doubt any online retailers will have old stock laying around.

Do you think it would make more sense to just go with a motherboard/cpu combo and just upgrade?

Would I be able to just throw a new motherboard/cpu in the case with all the other same hardware and just boot right up? Or would that cause problems?
