Hi,
I am installing a water cooling loop to cool my CPU.
The reservoir which is a reservoir/pump combo has 2 connectors coming out of the pump. One of the connectors is a 4-pin molex and the other is a 4-pin PWM Fan connector.
My question is if anyone knows if I have to connect both of these to get the reservoir/pump to work as it should or if one can be connected instead of the other (such as the PWM fan connector to the motherboard. I am also unsure where on the motherboard I will need to connect these connectors to.
The details of the motherboard and the reservoir/pump combo are below:
* Motherboard - Asus RoG Maximus XI Hero (Wi-Fi) Z390
* Reservoir/Pump Combo - EK-DBAY D5 PWM MX - ACETAL (INCL. PUMP)
Any advice will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Emrah.
