So I am doing a new build excluding my MB / CPU, which were upgraded in 2018.

MB: ASRock Z370 Pro4
CPU: i7-8700k (OC'd to 4.7GHz)
GPU: MSI R9 390 (will upgrade to RTX later this year)

My CPU doesn't go over 65 degrees, and my GPU doesn't go over 70 degrees in a case with 3 fans (this is pretty good, right?)

I bought this PC in 2013 from someone who had buyer's remorse. I upgraded the GPU and CPU over time, added some SSD's but it's largely the same as when I got it in 2013.

Hence the upgrades!

I have bought the following parts so far:

Case: Lian Li PC011D
PSU: Seasonic Focus+ 750PX
Fans: QL120 3 pack w/ Corsair Lighting Node Core
NZXT Internal USB Hub (since my MB only has 2x9pin USB connections and for RGB I will need 2 more)

Now that you are caught up, I am looking for advice on which CPU cooler to go with. I mentioned my temps were good because I don't think I need to go too crazy with fans in the new build. I am looking at the H100i or H115i (PRO XT versions). I suppose the H115i would be better for cooling but would be inconsistent as far as fan sizes go when taking into consideration the QL120s. Just looking for some final assurances on what to buy and if you have any other suggestions! Thanks so much for reading ✌
