Hey guys, after seeing so many helpful responses to other posts, I figured I would give this a shot. I am currently looking to upgrade an existing system (specs below) to allow for 4k gaming. I figure I will at least need another graphics card and monitor, but not sure which to get. Without further ado, here are my system specs:
MB: MSI X99A SLI Plus
CPU: Intel i7-6800K (3.6Ghz)
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i v2
HDD1: 5TB WD Black
HDD2: 4TB Seagate
SSD: 240GB SanDisk
RAM: 32GB HyperX Fury DDR4 2133MHz
GPU: ASUS AMD R9 390 STRIX
PSU: Corsiar 1200W 80+ Platinum
Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 750D
OS: Windows 7 Professional x64
Monitor1: Samsung 32" Curved (1080p)
Monitor2: Acer 20"
My current budget would be less than $1000 for the graphics card, and less than $500 for the monitor, if at all possible. Although I have in the past strictly used AMD cards, I am willing to go NVIDIA if that would be best for budget and performance. Thanks in advance!
