Question Need advice on Windows11 motherboard upgrade

Hi All,
I built my first PC with help from the forum. I was very nervous to do it, but it went smoother than I expected. Unfortunately it's been years ago and I don't remember most of what I learned! I would like to upgrade my motherboard to work with Windows 11 and am not sure which board I should choose. I suppose I could go with one that would accept most of the hardware from my original board but maybe that's not the best idea or even possible. I use the PC for photo and video editing. Hmm I wonder why windows update says it's not

I was able to run the PC health check without buying 360 and it said

Enable TPM 2.0 on your PC so I'll see if I can do that, thank you.​

I may do an upgrade anyway but I'll try the above first. Ifg i do upgrade I'm thinking of the https://www.asus.com/us/motherboards-components/motherboards/proart/proart-b760-creator-d4/ If so I'll need to figure which is the best processor for my need as the new board has a different socket.

Run the health check.
The hardware is compatible, some current settings might not be.

Wasn't your reason for upgrade, to get windows 11 ?
Since your hardware is already compatible with windows 11, then what's the reason to get a new board/new cpu now?
Were you not satisfied with performance of your current system?
Or just want to spend some money?

I'm trying to enable TPM 2.0 I don't have TPM at all. The current system has a few bugs that I haven't figured out but when editing it seems to perform well enough with no freezes. It does have an annoying bug that my mouse cursor disappears. I have not been able to fix it so I have to do a hard reboot.

Strange, according to the manual on page 3-19, the PCH-FW Configuration is where you configure the firmware TPM.

It's the same place where you would configure the TPM on the ProArt B760-CREATOR D4. Oh well.

Thank you for the manual link. I built this PC and it is my first build. It looks like TPM is a hardware piece? If so I don't think I knew about it, and never installed it. I'll open the case and see if anything is in the socket. I looked at Bios and no setting for TPM that I found, unless it's in advanced settings, which I didn't look at.

Thanks everyone, I have windows 11 installed. I used the software to enable TPM 2.0 vs buying a card. The only issue I see so far is on boot up. I'm getting an error "Can't load AsIO.sys"

thats from asus software...update asus apps or uninstall them
if you dont have anything from asus installed (like armoury crate), then head to bios and disable it there https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1043788/
