Hello everyone
I am looking to buy a new gaming pc but i don't know much about motherboards / cpu. Can someone help me build one with $1700.

I already have windows 8.1 pro and a 25 inch monitor. 250 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD would be sufficient.

Add a second GTX 980 Ti in SLI later if needed / desired. Overclock as you please...

I'd prefer i7 instead of i5. Everything else is nice.

Here's the build with the i7 instead. It's over budget but you can easily just step down to a 250GB SSD and upgrade later on.

Is 850W enough to SLI two 980 TI?

Yes. Also, why the i7?
