So i've odered my graphics card. It's an internet shop, so they send the card from storage to their shop where i give them the money and get the card. Everything was cheeky untill i started getting worried about the PSU.

I've read that a bad psu, when taking it's life might take other components with it. I bought the pc second hand at a thrift shop and if you can 2 and 2 together you know where i am comming from.

The system i want to run:
Video: Gigabyte GT 730 2GB GDDR5
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (not sure which one of the models)
MOBO: NF4UK8AA-8EKRS
RAM: 2 x 1GB DDR1 +
2 x 512mb
Drives: IDE 7200rpm
SATA 7200rpm
Optical drive: cd-r/dvd-r or something like that
Fans: There are 2 case fans with led's both 80mm
1 mini motherboard fan which should be around 45mm
A afterwards mounted graphics card fan which is below 80mm i think
CPU fan, like 80mm or something like that
PSU: Not sure of the model or the age or anything, but i will put some pics of it

The reasoning behind this system is that, i need a pc, but im not able to buy the pc as a whole yet, so why not get the graphics card which would boost my current pc just a tad bit and be a future options since the card isnt half bad.

Be Quiet makes decent psu's. I used Be Quiet in one of my own pc's until i needed more power.
It normally doesn't fry your pc,it has protections against that,
It doesn't use more power than asked for by the pc,Being "silver" rated is it even quite efficient.
For a single gpu system is 500watts often more than enough. Some high end gpu's combined with power sucking cpu's demand more. You don't have that.
You will be able to use it in a future build i.e. other set up.

If you demand more molex (pata) connectors can you also look at this psu,

a good trustworthy choice,it just costs a little more.
That's a really bad picture, can't see much of anything on it other than its ATX 350w with 16a on the 12v rail which is enough to run a gt730 which only requires 300w. That said, not being able to see a make/model/serial number hurts because many of those no name or bad type psus will say 350w at 100% load, and literally blow up after reaching anything over @60%.

Get a better picture. It'll be of much more help.

Could you check this thing out and find a replacement psu? It's in Latvian, but it should be self explanitory. http://datori.dataleks.lv/lv/items/psu-barosanas-bloki/
Im thinking of taking something along 500wats, so i could use the same psu an gpu for when i get rest of the parts for a new computer!

So, this is what i came to. I saw a review saying that it's good for the price. Could you say anything both positive and negative about it so i know what i'm dealing with.
Is it trustworthy?
If it goes wrong, will it fry my PC?
Is 500w too much? Note that i want to upgrade in the future.
Will it only consume as much as it needs or will it generally have a bigger power consumption, thus bigger electricity bill?
Is it even compatible with my PC and if it is, will it be able to work with other setups or will i be restricted to some kind of cpu's, mobo's etc?
I saw that it only has 2 molex connectors, whilst currently i use 4. (2 case fans, cd/dvd, ide hard drive)
