Currently, I'm using a 2 G skill rip jaws 2*4 gb kit. I want to upgrade the RAM, my motherboard supports a maximum of 16 GB RAM from what I could tell from the mobo manual. what I'm thinking is how much the XMP/ or the memory profile will my mobo support? the current set of ram maximums at 9-9-9-24-2. and I haven't found any mention of the maximum xmp profile that will support this mobo. what are the suggestions for buying a 2*8 GB kit, if I buy the same 8 GB RAM with the same XMP profiles will it work in dual channels? Another question is, is there any benefit from using rams with heat sinks? here are some local shop links that sell RAM. I'm leaning towards the 2 G.Skill NT-Series 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz, will it support the mobo Asus h81me? It has a Latency of CL 11-11-11-28, will this latency support the mobo? also in a dual channel? I have attached the Asus mobo link.
and what about the AITC Kingsman Gaming DDR3 8GB 1600mhz with heat sink? will the heat sink matter that much in a 10-year-old PC?

For that speed of DDR3 heatsinks shouldn't be particularly important.

It is best to buy a dual channel kit of memory to ensure all of the subtimings match. If this isn't an option for you the best you can do is make sure the model numbers are exact matches.

It doesn't look like the QVL list has been updated in a long time, but DDR3 1600 has the most modules listed so it should be a safe bet even if the specific model isn't listed.

Either of the two modules you listed should be fine though I would lean towards the G.Skill.

here's the thing, the above-mentioned ddr3 8gb g skill RAM isn't listed as supported when checking compatibility in the g skill website, but it is listed in the ddr3 ram category in a single kit. now as you said if I bought two of same models ones, it will run in dual channels without any compatibility problems?

This is what crucial shows as being a 2x8GB kit for the mobo.

Do a search on that number and see what is available in your area.

Their configurator doesn't show any 8GB DIMM compatibility period while the Asus QVL does. With boards that old you're not likely to get particularly good information. The only time I would be concerned about upgrading something this old is if it was either an unsupported capacity or a capacity covered by only one vendor.

Nothing is 100% guaranteed when it comes to DRAM, but you could always try to find something off of the QVL. The only thing I saw from your which might be a match to the QVL is this: Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 but what's listed on the website isn't the actual model number.

heres what i found about the hyper X, i dont know yet if its the exact same ram from the local seller, the link that you provided, https://www.ultratech.com.bd/ram/kingston-hyperx-fury-8gb-1600mhz-ddr3-cl10-dimm-ram

both seem to be double-sided, but as for hyper x fury, will it be usable as a dual channel ? theres no mention of it anywhere, also does using two identical single channel ram from the early post, g skill 8gb f31600 possible ? and will it work ?

That's the problem of it is that one then it is on the motherboard QVL, but if it isn't then it probably won't be.

Anything that works in your motherboard should be usable dual channel. As I said before it's better to get a dual channel kit, but your options seem very limited so getting two identical modules is likely your best choice.

after checking the both hyper X and asus mobo manual, i found another compatibility issue, apparently, this mobo doesnt support rams made up from 512mb chips, whereas the hyper x is made up of 512mb chips. so does that make this ram unsupported for this asus h81me mobo ?

You're confusing yourself here the DRAM spec is talking 512MB and the motherboard manual is talking 512Mb (64MB).

so bought two 8gb g skill rams. ran the windows memory diagonstic , and checked the event viewer, there were no errors. its working all well together so far.
