First thing I should say is I'm new to this and don't know a whole lot so be prepared to be smothered with questions. I'd like to speak with someone who has experience building and isn't going for a quick solution. I know I want to build a gaming PC with wifi compatibility for a reasonable price. I would like to play all the high end games on high graphics but not break the bank. Price would be an unknown for me since I'm not familiar with price to performance. Just shoot me a build that can run high end games for a decent budget and try to help me with a few questions :). I also need a monitor and I'd like to have windows 8 OS.

Solution
This would run games on high to ultra settings with ease:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor ($148.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: A-Data XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($65.70 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($56.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 280X 3GB WINDFORCE Video Card ($299.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: NZXT Source 220 ATX Mid Tower Case ($44.99 @ TigerDirect)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA...

Not worth it at all. All your paying for is a false sense of security. Touching the case every once in a while will do the exact same thing ( grounding yourself).
