I have $500 to finish a good gaming PC. (IF YOU MUST, spend up to $600)

These are the parts I've acquired so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Black_Lotus/saved/JjVD4D

I want someone to finish the rest with $500.

I am willing to REPLACE some parts IF IT HAS TO be replaced (Example: Replace the CPU cooler because it sucks, replace the Power Supply and Processor because IT NEEDS a better one.)

I want my gaming PC to basically be capable being fast and able to support 2 GTX 760's.

Not looking to replace my Storage Devices or OS.

I HAVE an Optical Drive, just can't find the name, so don't spend the budget on one.

Thanks for helping.

[Summary]

Want: Finished Gaming PC Build - http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Black_Lotus/saved/JjVD4D

Budget: $500 ($600 IF you MUST)

Need: Motherboard, RAM, Case

REPLACE if better one needed: Processor, CPU Cooler, Power Supply

Objective: A good gaming PC that's fast and can run around supporting 2 Nvidia GTX 760's (SLI)

EDIT: My room has bad airflow so a case with good airflow and good CPU cooler would be great.

Hello, jgabriel4.

To be able to hold two gtx 760 in sli you will need a decent cpu.
FX-6100 is definitely not the right one.
I suggest these:

Replace your cpu with i5-4670k
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i54670k
250$ - 112$ = 138$ more.

Replace your cpu cooler with Noctua NH-D14, so you will be able to overclock your cpu
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhd14
70$ - 11$ = 59$ more.

The motherboard - AsRock Extreme 4 z87
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z87extreme4
160$ more.

The memory - two sticks of DDR3-1600, for example this
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-memory-hx316c10fk28
80$

And a simple case - Zalman Z5
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/zalman-case-z5
65$

In total:
CPU - 138&
Cooler - 56$
Motherboard - 160$
Memory - 80$
Case - 65$
------
502$

You will be happy with the build :)

I would probably go for a single strong GPU.
Two of GTX 760 may require more than 600W PSU.

Thanks for the suggestions. I been thinking Intel would be a good Processor, just didn't know if I needed to replace my old one and which Intel would be best for my budget.

As for the RAM, I been eyeing those for a while. Seeing how you recommend it also, I guess I'll go with them.

If 600w isn't enough to support my 2 GTX 760's and the rest of the PC, feel free to go up to $600 (or AT MOST $625)

Also forgot to mention my room as little air flow so a REALLY good case and CPU cooler would be great.

As for the motherboard, when I went to the page, it said a Newer Version is available: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157503
Should I get this one instead or go with the one you recommended?

Noctua NH-D14 is a very good cpu cooler, don't worry about it.
Sadly, but I can't tell anything about the case.
I am looking at Fractal Design Define R4 for myselft, but it is not a cheap case.

Anyway, you should be fine with noctua and grab a gtx 780 instead of 760 sli.

Look here:
http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm

Recommended PSU for gtx 760 sli is 700w.
Recommended PSU for gtx 780 is 575w.

I would suggest you go for a single gtx 780
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130918&cm_re=gtx_780-_-14-130-918-_-Product

Also to be able to overclock the cpu you need some more power, that is why I would recommend to go with any of 700w 80+ PSU.

Of course grab AsRock Extreme z97 instead of z87 if they are holding the same price tag.

If you are ready to wait a couple of days, then you may take i5-4690k, which is better for overclocking
