Need guidance on building gaming pc

Hi Everyone,

I have been saving up for years to buy a really awesome pc and I wanted to know what your opinions are on some of the options that I've chosen and what ideas you may have to better improve the system. I've spent weeks sorting through what I should put into it and this is what I've come up with so far;

Ram:

Another question; for the CPU cooler should I get the Corsair Hydro Series H105 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler or should I get the noctua nhd 15?
Price is not an issue here, maybe size might be an issue, if you know any other cooling units that operate much better then please inform me as soon as possible.

Go for noctua d15 much better cooler i personally perfer air cooler more than liquid cooler.
liquid cooler have risks like leakage the pump can get damaged the worst thing that can happen to air cooler is fan stopped working in that case you can easily replace that.

Plus air cooler are less nosier than water cooler.

Hmm I think so too. Ill swap out for the Noctua d15 then, but I also heard that the Phanteks PH-TC90LS CPU Cooler is also a good buy.

Also should I drop out the Mother board I have now for the Rampage V? Im thinking about doing it as from what I understand it has all the capabilities of the X99 Asus.

The motherboard I am now looking at is the Asus Rampage V Extreme.

Edit: I have decided to go with the Asus Rampage V Extreme and have also changed the ram to
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB Kit (4GBx4) DDR4 2400 MT/s

Okk yes you can go with rampage v very good board 16 gb is too much for gaming but it will keep your pc future proof for many years.

I also wanted to know if the Power Supply should be changed as well as I will not be taking the Titan GPUs anymore?

if you are doing 2x gtx 980 sli then1500 watt is extreme overkill get a 850 watt of EVGA G2 PSU.
