Hello everyone, I run a Pentium D 915 with stock cooling on a Gigabyte GA-945P-S3 and 1024 DDR2 667; now my question is that: Could I overclock the processor without any volt mods up to 3Ghz (and without a different cooling) and would it make a difference in performance?
Thank you :)

Yes, you could do that, no problem. You will barely notice any difference with that small of an overclock. GL :)

PS. Have you had that system running yet, as the Gigabyte GA-945P-S3 doesn't support the P915D yet, according to the CPU support list from Gigabyte?
