[SOLVED] Need help choosing a router/modem

I am moving and need help determining if I need a new router/modem. I have an old Netgear C7000 modem from 2015 and I'll be paying for a 500 mbps connection from WOW! Do I need to buy a new one or will this one work fine?

That's a question that you need to ask the new provider. They will have a list of supported equipment and can tell you whether or not yours is on that list.

Their support sucks... Here is the only direction they have for modem selection -- https://www.wowway.com/docs/wow/documents-support-internet/modem-compatibility-list.pdf
This PDF -- https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/networking/wifirouter/C7000v2_DS.pdf says that the C7000 is a 24x8 so it should be OK with 500Mbit service.
