Need help choosing CPU/Mobo.

Hi, will these two guys work together?

This is my first build and I would like suggestions. Primary use is for gaming.

CPU: AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz

Total cost of the rig is about $900(Spent about $400 on the vid card). My budget for CPU + Mobo is about $200. $250ish max.

Thanks, I definitely like that setup. I think the i-5 is a good call, but I'm not necessarily sold on it.

So you're saying I should increase my budget for my CPU and decrease on the Mobo. I was worried about going too low on the cost of the motherboard, but I am not really sure what to look out for. I would like some room for expansion in the future. And I want to make sure it's fast enough to handle all of my other more high end parts. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

thst was the bosrd in mind. it will handle everything but overclocking nd crossfire/sli
