Need help choosing GPU

I'm in need of a good GPU. One thats in the $180-$250 range.
I'm on a budget here so I decided to go with a MB/CPU combo from Microcenter.

My choice is:
AMD FX-6300/Asrock 970 Extreme4

I wanted to go intel but the combo price is 230+ and thus way out of my budget.
I also plan on playing games like BF3, Skyrim, SimCity 2013, Planetside 2, and SWTOR.

I also plan to play on High-Very High settings, since Ultra is slightly better than Very High or High(BF3).

I don't care if its AMD or Nvidia as long as I can play these games at those settings. I will also accept better MB/CPU combos that you guys recommend.

Any advice would be appreciated. 😀

Nvidia jumps from GTX 660 (~$200) to the GTX 660 Ti (~$300). The 7870 XT is better than the 660, and it is about the same as or a little less than the 660 Ti (up for debate).
