Need help choosing graphic card

NOOo noo what im trying to say that its the best for u but if u can find a gtx 670 with the same price or a few more than its better than hd7950.

Don't worry u'll be able to play all games easily with 7950

7950 is the same price as 670 but 670 out-performs it..7950 will be worth it if it it's 50$ less..I have friend in UK he can get it from amazon with free delivery and then send it to me.

at amazon it says evga geforce gtx 670 256 bit 2gb is 465 $ and sapphire hd 7970 OC 3gb is 479 $ so less price difference then tell ur friend to buy the 7970 !

Haha!You are right it's basically fifty/fifty but I'd like to play BF3/Diablo/Skyrim and gtx 670 is better than 7970..I also read that nvidia has better drivers? and 670 is using less power n etc.Well..I want to get gtx 670/8gb ram/i5 2500k still the motherboard?Is gtx 670 good for OC?Also I forgot to mention that OC 7970 is slightly better but I wont clock alot so gtx 670 is better imo?what do you think?

And xtreme5 why arock z68 extreme 4 gen3 ?

yes id go for gtx 670 too as i too wanna play the main games ( bf3 , skyrim )
and yes nvidia has better drivers too. gtx 670 can OC but when it comes to OCing hd 7970 is better at it but u should get a gtx 670 its better 😀

they both are absolutely similar in performance but slightly difference in features, also you did mention that in my country every part is approximately 30% expensive therefore i suggest you asrock mobo,
extreme4 cost you 184$
asus z68 vpro cost you 189$
both at newegg,

BTW asus then it is way better choice cause of fetures like bluetooth,wifi,LucidLogix Virtu, usb 3.0 boost.
otherwise asrock is also best choose.
only 4 difference in price that doesn't matter too much get either of them.

Well because I was told in bulgarian forum that I shouldn't buy asrock in any case.."They use cheap materials? to make their products therefore their products are cheap and suck" basically that's what I was told..I guess you mean asrock is the better motherboard for gaming? and asus z68 vpro costs 300$ in Bulgaria 440 BGN.Can you link me extreme4 ? somewhere because there are alot of extreme4 motherboards.One of them is z77 and as far as I know z77 motherboards are used If you plan on changing the CPU later?

You don't connect monitor to the motherboard. You connect monitor to the graphics card.

yeah 1080p is good option for 670, basically motherboard does not have an HDMI interface, HDMI is in the graphics card only, having 4 usb 2.0 is old think about usb 3.0. so for that those things again i'm telling you to go with asus z68vpro if you think that asrock are bad. sound card? it's not too much neccessary built-in sound is better.

What about ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3? what are the differences with asus z68vpro ? which will work better with i5 250k and 670? I want to ask also do I need cpu cooler?and which resolution is the best for 670? 1920x? thanks in advance

I personally have Asrock Extreme3 Gen3 and it's been working perfectly for the past 6 months. Extreme4 Gen3 is just its big brother, with 2 more USB slots.

I want to add something more; in the future im planning on SLI(2x 670) is asrock z68 extreme4 good for that? i can get the asus which was recommended by xtreme5 tho it's 70-80$ more expensive in my country..is it worth it?
