Hi all, this is the first time I post in the forum. I've been reading a lot and it seems to be really helpful! :)

Currently, I am deciding the components for my first PC build. I will be mainly using this PC for gaming, photo and video editing, and of course web browsing, etc.

This are the components I've been thinking of buying: (Don't get surprised by the prices, here in Argentina almost everything is twice the price 🙁 )

Ok, so what do you guys think? Will this rig satisfy my gaming needs? Will I be able to overclock CPU/GPU (Forgot to write it but also getting a CM Hyper 212+) ?

One thing I wanted to ask you guys is to recommend me another motherboard, which should be future proof as the CH IV Formula and also a little bit cheaper.

I put all the links to the articles I am talking about (They are all in Spanish but just so you could have a reference)

So, tell me what you think, and what you think I should modify or add!

I'm Canadian and have no Spanish skills whatsoever!
Yes you definitely do not need a ROG mobo a regular Asus mobo will perform just as well.
You could get a AMD 955BE cpu cheaper and it offers the same base speed performance as the 965 just add x1 to the multiplier

I have a CM690II Basic case and the features and cooling options are excellent.
Just add some fans for the top exhaust.

Btw the 212+ is an excellent cooler and fits no problem in the CM690II.

I'm so glad you found that OZC psu because it's very good for the price.
The ram i linked is excellent/very fast 1600Mhz/CL7 i use it myself.
I payed $120 when i bought it a year ago in Canada.
You need DDR3 dual channel ram.
The ram you linked in your first post is good.
i don't like your choices at this link.
The only one that's good is the single kit and you would have to buy two of them.

oops, there was another kit of DDR3 ram when I put the link there. Guess that by the time you saw it they were out of stock and that is the reason it is not there, lol.
Don't worry I'll get the DDR3 kit 1600mhz cl7 😉
