I just got my new mobo DFI LanParty UT 250 GB, as most of us will know, it has power and reset switches on the board itself, those 2 work perfectly fine. My main power switch on the other hand will not power on the board.

Any takes on this?!

1 more annoying problem.. After putting in my Athlon 64 3200+ newcastle, I ran a few benchies to see what I actually got, everything worked ok, It was a stable board and proc combo. The problem is, when I decided to remove the processor it just wont come off.

Oh yeah, I unhooked the retention clip ofcourse, Im afraid to apply more pressure in pulling the processor out, I might break some pins on my brand new a64 3200+

Help me please.

It is easiest to remove the chip while it is still warm. After you have run for a while, switch off, and undo the clip. Next, wiggle the hsf, side to side, untill it feels free. Then take the hsf off.. If you cant get it to feel free, repeat the first steps.
If your computer wont start, you can always use cold instead. You take the mobo out, and put it in the anti-static bag, with hsf and chip in place. Seal the bag, and place it in the freezer. Give it about an hour, then use the wiggling motion, to free up the hsf. Having the retainers off, before freezing makes it work better.
