Hiya, ive come together with the following specs for a pc im building for a friend.

AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core

Thermaltake Versa G2 Midi Mesh Gaming Case USB3

ASUS® M5A97 LE R2.0

8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X FURY DUAL-DDR3 x 2

2GB AMD RADEON™ R9 270

Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium

Kingston Technology 120GB Solid State Drive 2.5-inch V300

WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive

EVGA 500B 500W 80+

Samsung SH-224FB/RSMS 24X Internal DVD Writer with SATA

Please let me know if there is anything im missing and whether all components will fit in and if that PSU is powerful enough!

Thanks!

If I was you, I'd consider an Intel CPU, instead of an AMD one, and if you are planning to game on med to high settings, those are not the components you would look to buy- get better graphics card.

Anyways, if you are on a budget, yes this system is physically compatible, GPU fits in case, etc

However, to use the AMD 8350 you would have to do a bios update on your motherboard which is not a big issue.

And get a CPU heatsink- cooler master hyper 2012 evo, for overclocking/using the AMD 8350- https://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2

For the PSU, this will just run the system, but I'd recemmond a 550w PSU just in case-
