Hi all.
I am planning to build a new gaming PC and need help on it. I mostly play games at 1440x960 resolution and have decided for two possible combinations which can fit my budget.
1. i3 3rd gen+ msi gtx 960+ 8 gb ram or the other is
2. i5 2500(non-k)+ msi gtx 750ti+ 8 gb ram
please help for which can i go so that i can max out every game coming in future.
thanks in advance....

Solution
Neither of those can do what you want.

You would need the i5 + GTX 960 + 8GB ram to run games coming in the future at good graphics on that resolution.

However, i5 2500 + GTX 750Ti + 8Gb ram can run most games at 1920x1080p low-medium. Slightly higher on 1440x960.

do u think i will be fine with that at mentioned resolution and can easily max out?

If you have the option, go for an i5 with 8gb of RAM and a cheaper GPU. This will make your core system more "future proof", and you should only need to upgrade the GPU at a later date.

I wouldn't build a 2500 system now - although it's still decent speed, it's dated, and will be obsolete faster than the i5.
