Need Help getting 144 HZ Monitor to work

I currently have a GN 246NL and a AMD Rx 480. I am using a DVI to Display Port connection to connect the monitor and the graphics card. When I go into display settings, it gives me the option only for 60 Hertz, even though the monitor is capable of 144 Hz.

Use only either dual link DVI or Display port

Its one wire, a dvi that connects to the pc as a display port
