I also have another quick question

My friend has a H-I41-uATX (Eton) motherboard.. he is wondering if a GTX 550 TI will fit inside his pc..?
Quick Question Thanks

Which One do you prefer to get for his motherboard? (Cheapest)

Im sorry that i keep making this so long and longer :/ 🙁 I Just want the Right info before i buy the 660 TI

The 550 TI only has One 6-pin and the 660 Ti has two 6-pin how do i actually add another one?

You do yes the card will require the two pci express power connections to power the card. The power supply I recommended has just enough to power it. It also has a +2 connection in case you ran across a card that needed one.

But can i use mine though? cause thats all i want to spend... just a graphic card and also the Site Newegg i know it but its from the US.. im in the UK...

I'm looking at the tier list and it looks like if you have the power supply you have that the ones manufactured before 2007 are bunk power supplies. Granted your PSU is after the point of bunk you should be okay. You will however need to use the adapter that comes with the card as you only has 1 PCI-E power connection with your unit.

Tier 4 - Not Recommend for stressful situations. May not be able to put out full rated power above room temperature, and may slightly fail to meet ATX specs.

But i can still use the one i have right? the OCZ StealthXStream 500W?

You can yes. But if you read what newegg has put out about the modstream you could take it one of two ways either the unit will do great after 2007 manufacturing or poorly prior. Prior you will possibly not get the advertised wattage at a continuous rate. So its hard to say. If the power supply doesn't emit its advertised wattage that could present a problem.

Also, something to keep in mind it may be just a better solution to not chance it at all and make sure you have a unit that will insure your graphics card and your system. I know you are probably on a budget and that is understood however it would make me a little on edge to know my power supply is either great or bunk.

Im a Bit confused here Sorry... So I Could have a problem and i couldnt have a problem? is it like 50 50?
Cause i dont want to break my Pc all the way that ill have to get a new one...? Ive also checked on the Nvidea site for the 660 TI Specs and it says Minimum wattage it needs is 450 isnt that quiet good though?

Well if you read through what I posted it shows the tier list of power supplies. And in one case a modstream gets placed in tier 2 which is good. And then the other gets placed in tier 4 which is bad. I'm not sure what would happen if your power supply went sour. I wouldn't want to test it your power supply has the ability to take your entire system up.

This is what tier 4 says read it carefully.

Tier 4 - Not Recommend for stressful situations. May not be able to put out full rated power above room temperature, and may slightly fail to meet ATX specs.

With "ability to take your entire system up" Do you Mean it in a bad way for example Wreck my system and mess up my Processor and stuff or a good way?

You aren't in a bad position because the power supply you have has molex connections and with a pci express adapter that comes with the card you would plug 2x 4 pin molex connections into the adapter and you would essentially get a pci express connection. That being said though yes I mean take up your system in a bad way. Say something goes poorly with your power supply could take out a few items could take out all of the items. Its crucial never to skimp on your power supply.

My Power Supply is only a month old or doesn't that matter?
And I dont really know what to do now get a new one or just leave the old one...
Cant i Leave it for now and if something goes wrong then get a new one?

I have actually brought the PC NEW with these specs:
16.0 GB Dual-Channel DD R 3 @ 669 MHz (9-9-9-24)
1023 MB Ge Force GT X 550 Ti (ASUS tek Computer Inc)
Bulldozer FX-6100 6 Cores 3.3GHZ
ASUSTeK Computer INC. M5A78L-M/USB3 (AM3R2)
And ofcourse the Power Supply Was New Aswell...

Yea, you are tiring me out man 😛 That is why I linked the tier list to start is because the modstream units prior to 2007 were awful but after 2007 they were considered tier 2. The only down side to your power supply at this point is that it only comes with 1 pci power connection.

So.. I will have to use plug 4 pin molex to get 2?
