Good day, I am going to change out my stock LGA 1366 hsf for a CM Hyper 212 evo and i just have a few concerns:
1. In literature provided they have instructed me to apply thermal compound to the entire base of the fan but in the videos i've watched on youtube i've never seen that being done, what should i do with respect to the thermal compund application
2. They show (the literature that is) how to place the bracket for the to mount the fan, but is that for only the north-south placement (where the face of the fan is facing the ram) or the east-west placement (face of fan is facing the video card) also?
3. I've also purchased Artic Silver 5 (i think) and was reading while researching that it has a 200 hr burn in period, so does that mean that i can only overclock my i7 920 after that 200 hr period or is that the time that needs to pass to see drops in temps?
