Hello,

I bought this m2 ssd and installed it on my z370 extreme4. I already have one SATA HDD and one SATA SSD. Windows 10 is installed on the existing SSD. I know that m1_1 and SATA3_0 & 1 share channels and same for m2_2 and SATA3_4 & 5.

according to my BIOS, my HDD is in SATA3_0 and my old SSD is in SATA3_A1. therefore, I plugged my new m2 SSD into the m2_2 port. (see picture)

now when I boot, I get an "inaccessible boot device" blue screen.
any help is appreciated, thank you

Hey,

I've tried this - same result. I also took out the new M2 drive and put my other drives back in their original ports which had worked before, but I'm still getting the same BSOD. Any help getting my computer to start back up again?

Thanks

If you returned it back to original operating config, and it does not work...that sounds like a drive or motherboard issue.

Just to test, can you do an OS install on the new M.2 drive?
With NO other drives connected.
