So I've put the SSD, RAM, CPU, and the cooler. I've opened the power supply and I'm completely lost... I'm not sure which wires go where and which of the wires I actually need. I've tried to watch a few videos of people installing them but it doesen't really break it down enough for me to understand. This is my first build so I'm completely new to this so a little help would be great. I can take pictures or get on video chat with some one on discord if possible. I'll drop what parts I'm using below so you have a little more insight.

(Nothing is in the case yet)

Motherboard: MSI B550 Gaming Edge WIFI
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
Cooler: NOCTUA NH-D15 chrome max black
PSU: EVGA 650W BQ
GPU: Zotac 12GB 3060 Twin Edge OC

(I didnt figure saying was SSD and RAM I'm using matters)

Thanks guys!

I'm not trying to be "that guy" but if you are struggling this much please send photos of your completed work before you even try to power that on. Hooking up a power supply is pretty easy overall even for a person new to building. The cables are usually labeled.

I've gotten all the power cables plugged into the right place. I'm sure of that. It's just the PCI-E cable that's left.. Does that one need to be plugged in anywhere? I can post pics of need be but at this moment that's the only problem. I have the front plate wires all plugged in properly.. For the PSU, I have the VGA plugged into the GPU, the two CPU's into the CPU slots at the corner of the mobo, and ofc the 20 pin is plugged as well.

So where does the VGA cord go to? By the way, thanks for taking the time to help me.

What do you mean. PCIE=VGA on power supply in your photo the opposite end will go into the power supply and the end you showed into the graphics card.

VGA goes into the power supply to power the pcie ends.

Put the VGA listed end into the EVGA power supply. Install into motherboard. Install ends listed PCIE onto graphics cards.

OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so plug it in right next to the other VGA plug in on the PSU?

Yes. But only if you need the extra cable for your video card as that power supply has a pcie cable that is not modular to be used(it's permantly installed. The modular ones you can plug in are extras if you need them.

The cables with the braiding are attached perm to the psu. Unless you need extra cables that one should power your GPU without having to use that one listed VGA. Just noticed what power supply you have sorry for the confusion.

So technichally I can take that and the SATA wires out all together? Or should I just leave the back end plugged into the port beside the front end? I don't have the kinda SSD that the SATA plug into. Also, do the perif cable need to be connected to anything?

Sorry for making this so complicated, I appreciate you baring with me

Yeah if you don't need them just remove them you can always put them back later if you do need them.

So I hooked everything up and powered it on but nothing is coming up on my monitor... The CPU fans are blowing, front fan is blowing, the GPU is lit up.... Idk what to do now.
