Hey guys these are the parts that i've decided on so far.

CPU:
Intel E6850
Zalman 9500 HSF

MB:
EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 LGA 775 nforce 680i SLI

VDO card:
geforce 8800 GTS superclocked

HDD:
WD Raptor 150g 10k rpm SATA

I need to order the 8800gts and mb today since its the last day for the rebate on newegg. Just wanted to make sure that the parts are going to be compatible. I do plan on going SLI later when the price drops a bit in about a years time.

Also I need help decided on RAM, PSU and case. I plan on using this system as a gaming one so I do plan on OCing this as well. I need help picking out some 8000 ram or some good OCing 6400 ram. Also need help decided on PSU and case that will fit all of these parts haha

any help would be much appreciated, sorry for the short notice but I wasn't paying attention to the rebate dates until last night.

Thanks in advance!

You can get some curcial DDR2-800 RAM. As for the case, that's pretty much up to you, there are many great cases out there. Antec, CoolerMaster, Thermaltake, NZXT, all make great cases.

PSU you can get either of the Corsair units or try SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus SS-550HT or SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus SS-650HT

cool thanks for the advice, gonna look more into the PSU.

regarding the case ya its really more on person preference. Will look more into that.

But the other parts look good? or should i consider other things?

To me that looks good, however I would seriously consider getting one of the newer P35 motherboards and a cheaper HDD. Then use that saved money to get a higher grade video card, which would be better than two cards in SLI. That way you will have a much better future proof system since you will be able to upgrade to the newest CPUs later on down the road and use DDR3 RAM once it gets better.
